| This was done as a Thank You
to my muse, Jennifer for all the wonderful thoughts and
inspirations she blessed me with throughout our relationship. To
love me is truly a test of patience and somehow this woman is
blessed with the serenity I lack.
Though given to Jennifer as a gift, her image is not
represented anywhere in the piece. Instead, The Three Muses
reappear in this piece. This time, The Three Muses are
represented more vividly than in the earlier, more ethereal
interpretation of the Muses, (Girlfriend, Wife, and Mother).
However, unlike The Three Muses, the women in this painting
symbolize Mother Earth, Mother Music, and in between, The Mother
of All Humanity.
I was at peace with Love, Life, and the World when I painted
this at the Ocean Breeze Studio in Pompano Beach, Florida.
This seemingly straightforward and simple piece holds much
spiritual meaning if you look closely.
I think this will always be one of my favorites. |
